In Collinée, a small village in Brittany, the number of foreigners is around 10%, a considerable rate for such a place. The Kermené slaughterhouse, where 3000 people work, is the only local employer. This draws cheap labour from Mali, Portugal, and Romania, settling there. The film portrays this town through its inhabitants, and pictures a France far from urban centers, and closer to a social dumping version of Europe.
