Larry, a Frenchman living in Los Angeles sets out to track down Dr. Dre after making an untenable promise to his girlfriend: to bring her the unreleased Detox album he claims to have for a party. Larry has four days to find a record that was never released. Through this quest, he introduces us to Los Angeles and the Gangsta Rap culture.
