Compiled of interviews with some of Africa’s most influential figures, incorporating unique never-before-seen archival footage in danger of disappearing, Africa(s), History of the continent plunges viewers into the past of a continent long ignored, showing the upheaval of the colonial era and the great adventures in American democracy and unity, as well as fermenting independence movements, civil wars, the chaos caused by global clashes, budding crises and the stirrings of cultural renewal. The empty spaces in our own history are encapsulated in the memory of this continent, oblivious to the West, where our deepest impulses toward development are being brought to bear.
