Pierre is a public writer. During his office hours in Beauvais, in Picardy, he welcomes and accompanies those who have been made vulnerable by life. Together, they sort out and fill in deeds and forms, unravelling situations that seemed inextricable.

In the course of face-to-face meetings that are both serious and smiling, a state of the world governed by an ever more harassing administrative apparatus takes shape, but one in which mutual aid and solidarity also emerge.
